Company History

Advanced Web, the result of a merger between Advanced Web Technologies and Web Label, began combined operations in Sept. 2005. AWT and Web Label were both narrow web flexo converters which allowed for a smooth transition and adaptation of technologies. AWT was founded in 1991 and Web Label in 1976. Both organizations were located in the North East Minneapolis area.

Advanced Web is made up of key employees from both companies with John Colwell as CEO/President and Mark Gubash as VP of Manufacturing. In May 2006 the company combined its headquarters and moved to its current facility at 600 Hoover Street in Minneapolis. In addition, the company also has a facility in Tempe, AZ.
